Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile game Mars Is Not Yours: TD, package name com.denes.marsisnotyours.
Information we collect
Mars Is Not Yours: TD does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera access, microphone access, or precise location.
The Android version uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. Depending on the device, Android version, service configuration, and your choices, these services may process:
- app and device identifiers, such as a Firebase installation or app instance identifier;
- device and app details, such as device model, operating-system and app version, language, and general technical configuration;
- approximate location derived from a masked IP address (not GPS or precise location);
- usage information, such as app launches, sessions, screens or game events, tutorial and level progress, gameplay actions, and event timestamps; and
- crash and diagnostic information, such as stack traces, logs, affected code, app state, and device state at the time of a failure.
We do not intentionally include names, email addresses, precise location, or player-written content in analytics events or crash logs.
Data stored on your device
The game stores gameplay progress and preferences locally on your device. This may include unlocked levels or towers, tutorial and reward status, equipped towers, language, audio levels, and gameplay speed. This local save data is used to operate the game and is separate from the limited usage and diagnostic data described above.
How we use information
We use the information described in this policy to:
- measure app usage, engagement, and player retention;
- understand how game features and levels perform;
- identify, diagnose, prioritize, and fix crashes and errors; and
- improve the game's stability, balance, and user experience.
We do not use Firebase data to show personalized advertising, and the game does not currently contain third-party advertising.
Google Firebase services
Google LLC provides Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics and processes the technical, usage, and diagnostic data only as needed to provide those services to us. Information may be processed on Google's infrastructure in countries other than the one where you live. Google Play may separately process information under its own terms when distributing or operating the app.
For more information, see Firebase Privacy and Security, the Google Privacy Policy, the Google Analytics for Firebase documentation, and the Firebase Crashlytics documentation.
No sale or advertising use
We do not sell this information, use it for advertising or marketing, or share it with other third parties. Google/Firebase receives the limited data described above only as our service provider for analytics and crash reporting.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the game. Firebase states that Crashlytics retains crash reports and associated identifiers for 90 days. Analytics retention depends on the Google Analytics property settings, while aggregated reporting may be retained for longer periods. See Firebase Privacy and Security and Google Analytics data retention.
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, subject to the settings and retention periods of the services we use and any applicable legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
Analytics and Crashlytics may begin collecting the technical data described above automatically when the game runs. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the game stops future collection from that installation, but does not necessarily delete information already retained by Firebase.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal data, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us using the address below. We may need information about your app installation to locate a record, and in some cases Firebase data may not be reasonably linkable to you by name.
Children's privacy
The game is not designed to ask children for names, contact details, or other information directly identifying them. Firebase may nevertheless process the limited technical, usage, and diagnostic data described in this policy. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate steps.
Security
We use reasonable measures intended to protect information and limit its use to the purposes described above. Firebase states that data is encrypted in transit. Local game data is also subject to the security controls provided by your device and operating system. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the game's features or data practices change. Any revision will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the game or through the distribution platform when appropriate.
